DAY TWELVE > Flowermill Stationary Co.

T and I go way way WAY back all the way to art class in Matric.

Back then we got kicked out of class often daily and our art teacher told us we should simply give up because our art will never get us anywhere. (that’s putting it in a nice way).  T now works for Eleven and is shit ass successfully designing stuff for big brands and I’m, well I’m me haha, doodling and designing to pay the bills. Take that Ms Meyer!

But that aside, we’re here for the free stuff right? Well part of the Eleven group is the Flowermil Stationary Company and she’s had her creative paws in designing a few of their cards and so on and damn am I proud of her. To help celebrate my birthday she’s hand-picked a few of the cards (6 of them) and is giving them to one of you. I think they’re adorable and honestly I want them for myself, I promise to put them to good use :P

  1. My best high school memory is bunking accounting and slipping into typing class to be with my best bud. To be honest the typing has done me more good than the accounting ever did and I still have the same best bud 13 years later ♡

  2. Difficult one, I didn’t dislike high school and I have a lot of good memories, but can’t really say what the BEST one would be. Although one of my favourites was getting kicked out of english class because I pissed off the teacher by laughing, it’s complicated, but I enjoyed the fact that I could actually get on his nerves enough for him to make me leave. :)

  3. When I went back to go fetch my matric certificate to take it to university. I realised, just how small and unimportant it was in the grand scheme of things. High school was not the best place for me, some great people, but still ugh.

  4. My best memory from High School was participating in sports events and fancy dress parades.

  5. Best High School memory would have been my last day there. Wasn’t the worst but definately not the best days of my life. Ironically the reunions have been amazing.

  6. I was a delinquent in highschool made entirely of shenanigans and angst. I suppose I had an okay time back then but it’s been a while and I wouldn’t do any of it over.

  7. I hated high school. It was NOT kind to me. But life is so much bigger than that. I want all the stationary. Can I please have all the stationary?! Paleeeeeez ? !

  8. My best memory from high school? Getting thrown out of English Class for 2weeks because I told the teacher she no longer had anything to teach me about to Kill A Mockingbird because she was so slow that in the time it took her to read one chapter, I had finished the book. The art teacher (i didn’t take art) took pity on me and let me sit in his class for those two weeks as long as I created a masterpiece.

  9. my first ever out of town activity happened in high school— i got to go to a different city with no parents. lots of fun!

  10. Lunch time with my friends! We were all so young, happy and carefree and would taste each others sandwiches and chat about the previous nights soapies :)

  11. As for me…my best high school memories, they are mostly small incidents with friends–an encouraging comment, a fun evening out, a trip experience for sport. One event, though, stands out for me–my matric dance.

  12. I have so many – but I would say that my best memory is doing Drummies. It was my life and part of my fondest school memories. I loved every second of it and I can tell you stories of all the crap my friends and I got up to.

  13. I can’t comment on some of the posts.
Best memory from high school was jumping into the sea on the last day to symbolise our freedom.
